Descripción de la vivienda
A traditional Spanish town house delving into the countryside from the outskirts of one of the most sort after locations in Mallorca, Santanyi.
From walking in through the original oak doors the view from the ‘country’ kitchen through the house and into the garden and over the pool and palms is incredible. Glorious across all of the seasons, it is a genuine oasis.

El entorno
Ideally situated to explore the diversities of the island of Mallorca.
Beaches

Es Trenc is reputedly the best beach on the island, and worth a visit. Here, 4 kilometres of beach are backed by sand dunes and natural bush land, with hardly a hotel complex in sight. Like all the popular beaches on the island it becomes busy in the height of the summer. Nearby the quieter beaches of Sa Rapita and Ses Covetes (in the same bay) are less well known, but just as beautiful.
Cala Mondrago is in fact two beautiful interlinked coves not far from Santanyi. The beach is situated amongst a national park and on the far side beach has picnic areas and a children’s adventure playground, while the near beach is a lot quieter. Beautiful clear water and a sandy beach attract the occasional yacht, mooring in the natural harbour for the day. You will have to park in the nature reserve car park and walk to the beach.
Cala Santanyi is close to the town. A beautiful sandy bay protected by cliffs looks out onto clear blue waters. There are a couple of hotels and several beach restaurants and also a diving school. Ideal for children, you can hire out beds and sun umbrellas and the car park is right at the side of the beach.
Cala Llombards
Cala Llombards is another cove just past Ses Salinas. The beach is similar to Santanyi without the hotels and restaurants, although there is a very decent bar restaurant with two friendly parrots. Sun umbrellas and sun beds are available but you will not find any public conveniences at the beach.

Local Area
CAMPOS
Campos which is 4km away, is a busy agricultural town which livens up on market days every Thursday and Saturday morning. It is a friendly place with a smattering of interesting shops, restaurants and reputably the best bakery on the island.
SANTANYI
Santanyi, a sleepy town that has become cosmopolitan due to the insurgence of foreign buyers, is a mixture of traditional with interior designer boutiq
