Our house is a two bedroom, one and half bath row house. Located in the middle of a safe and quiet residential street in Hampden, one of Baltimore's trendiest neighborhoods. The house features a front porch sitting area as well as a back patio. The kitchen is large and there is a separate dinning room. There are living rooms or dens in the front and rear of the house. THe house has wi-fi and full cable television. Both bedrooms have queen size beds and the sofa in the front room folds out into another queen size bed. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer. The house is air conditioned by window units, and has radiator heat.

El entorno
Our house is located a half a block off of Hampden's chic main street, "The Avenue". It has great restaurants, coffee shops, boutique shopping, and a few bars including the landmark Hon Cafe. We are about a 5 minute walk to the light rail station which runs to downtown Baltimore, the sports stadiums, and Penn Station (the city's main train station). There is also a bus line which runs to the equally charming Mt Washington neighborhood to the north, and downtown to the Baltimore Convention Center. Roosevelt Park (which features a hidden gem of a public pool), Wyman Park, and the Baltimore Museum of Art are all close by, as is the world famous Johns Hopkins University. We are close to D.C. (1 hour drive or commuter train ride) and there is easy transportation to New York for the day or longer. We are only 15 minutes from BWI airport.<br />

Baltimore features a number of family friendly attractions, such as the National Aquarium, the Maryland Science Center, the Baltimore Zoo, and the Inner Harbor. Baltimore is also the home of Fort McHenry, where the Star Spangle Banner was written. The city also boasts a number of museums, such as the Walters Art Gallery, and the must see American Visionary Arts Museum. All of these attractions are close by the house, 15 minutes by car or cab. Hampden is a hub of activity for Baltimore's arts community, and many of the shops sell items which are made locally. While neither the neighborhood, nor the city for that matter, is pretentious it is very trendy.
