For urban hiker it is perfect too, every place are walking distance.<br />
You will find all you need on the block: bookshop, bakery trade, newspapers stall, cheese dairy, butchery, fishmonger's, supermarkets, cafes with different style hip, local, bobo (leftist burgesy), young peoples or dirty too (very good for ethnology).<br />

In the neighborhood, you will enjoyed : the "Canal St Martin" & the "Canal de l'Ourq" with shops, bars, restaurants, movies, the "Parc de la Villette" for outdoors activities & the "Cite de la musique" & "Cite des Sciences" museums, the famous XIXth century park Eastern Downtown Paris "Buttes Chaumont", & a lot of structure for doing sport. Our district is a delicate balance between among of social class. We do have also a lot of cacher groceries.
